About Sira form

Sira form stands for inspiration and pattern design characterized by budding plant life and grace. The word sira means to adorn and decorate.

To me nature is a great source of joy, inspiration and recreation and with my patterns I would like to bring that feeling in to our homes and public spheres.

In the company Sira form I work with designing patterns in different ways. I create patterns for textiles for home furnishing, such as curtains, pillows and tablecloths that I print and sew by hand.

The patterns are classically Swedish and every pattern has its own story. They often have a close local connection, like the pattern “Rush” that I made with the poem “Sigh, sigh rushes” by Gustaf Fröding in mind.
